Jones House
I stumbled across the timing of this by accident. Late last night, drivers were a bit startled to see the Jones House, built in 1893 in the now-about-to-be-redeveloped Central Addition, heading the wrong way down Front Street towards a new lot on Reserve Street. I was a few seconds late with this photo, but the woman driving this doorless pickup was standing on her doorframe, waving wildly in near disbelief at the house going by. More than one driver made the "it's a mobile home!" joke. Traffic is light at that hour and the movers said they didn't bother to close the road because "usually, drivers can see us coming."
